I’m not a policy wonk, but I find politics interesting and I find informed political discussions even more interesting. I started this blog just as a way to keep track of all that’s been happening in the political arena. Every day is a new scandal or controversy or problem or, in some cases, tragedy. With so much news coming at me all the time, I decided to keep a weekly list just so I could keep it all straight and in one place.

I haven’t been listing my sources the weekly posts, and I figured you’d probably want to know where I’m getting the info. I get most of it from media like The New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Axios, NPR, PBS, Washington Post, AP, Reuters, Fox News, Foreign Policy, The Economist, and Boston Globe. Sometimes the stories start with local networks or MSNBC. Often I’ll try to get to a source document or video, like a .gov site, official report, or transcript, and typically I’ll look at a story from a few different sources just to be sure I get it right. Though that doesn’t mean I always do…
